I’m
a UK-based writer and photographer, covering travel, food & drink,
arts & culture, property & interiors, health & science, and
design/consumer goods.
My work has appeared in a wide range of major British titles. Newspapers include The Times and Sunday Times, The Guardian, Daily Telegraph and Sunday Telegraph, Independent and Independent On Sunday, Daily Mail and Mail On Sunday, Daily Express and Sunday Express, Evening Standard, The Scotsman and Scotland On Sunday. Magazines include Time Out, Sunday Times Travel, Conde Nast Traveller, Waitrose Food Illustrated, The Spectator, Bella, Wanderlust and Geographical. I’m also a regular contributor to Time Out's annual London bar and shopping guides.
Internationally, I write for the upmarket US women’s glossy Bee Woman and have contributed to the top Australian newspaper The Age. My features have also been syndicated to a variety of US regional papers through the New York-based agency Featurewell (www.featurewell.com). I’m also an experienced online writer, having worked for several years on BBC Online covering arts and entertainment subjects. Other online outlets include Telegraph Online, BA.com and Greenbee.com, the website for Waitrose and

In 2006, I wrote the text for Mark Denton’s large format photographic book London: The 100 Greatest Panoramas (Constable & Robinson).
